Now, on to the adventure. I went to Chinaman's hat. It's this way cool place on the west shore of Oahu. I love it. Its right here:

You see that island Mokoli'i? Yeah that's Chinaman's hat. It kinda looks like this:

So. we decided that we were going to walk there

Don't worry. We're not irresponsible college students *cough* Tons of people do this all the time, even though some people didn't make it and had to go back :( But, with the right tide, you can walk the whole way there!

That's my friend Erica. We eat breakfast together on Tue/Thur before we both have to go to work. I am in the back just about to walk onto the island right now in the white/gray bathing suit. And then when you get there, it's a straight climb to the top

Ok, it's really not that bad. It's mostly a clear path, but the last part you need to climb up those rocks. But seriously? This is where I live.

It was kind of a cloudy day, but it's still beautiful. It is one of those moments when you just have to say Mahalo (thank you in Hawaiian) to God for creating this incredible Earth that we live on.
